Task colors allow you to pick different colors for tasks. This helps you to visually differentiate between different tasks in your plan.
You can pick from a set of predefined colors that are available on the right-click of a task on the Interactive Gantt. 
The task color will be shown in task reports and the Interactive Gantt. When you copy or move a task, the color is also copied overretained.
