Timers allow you to accurately track time spent on tasksWork Items. You 'Start' the timer when you start working on the task Work Item and 'Stop' it when you are done. You can also 'Pause' the timer if you temporarily stop working on a task Work Item and 'Resume' it when you work on it again. For example, assume you have two tasks Work Item; Task T1 and T2a Workflow W1. When starting on T1 you start its timer. After a couple hours you need to switch to task T2W1. You can either click 'Pause' for the timer for T1 and then 'Start' the timer for T2 W1 or you can directly click 'Start' the timer for T2 W1 which will automatically pause the timer for T1. When you need to switch back to working on T1, click 'Resume' for the timer for T1.
You ou can have only one 'active' (ticking) timer at a time and is indicated in Red. To add time click on ' Fill Time 'icon. This will open an update Update Progress & Time window with the time pre-filled. You can modify the hours if required. After you fill time the timer for that task Work Item is reset. To remove the task Work Item from the list click on 'Delete' icon.
