Reports can be created on one of the following entities.
Project
This will enable help you to generate reports on your which will show the project information , like the category, project financials, custom fields, etc.
Task
This will enable help you to generate reports on your the task information , like the schedule dates, task financials, custom fields etc , etc.
Time Entry
This will enable help you to generate reports on your time entries. So, you can see your project wise, task wise, resource wise time submitted, by time code for a particular time period.
Expense
Similarly you This will help you to generate reports on the expenses. You can see expense code wise project project wise totals, or reimbursable amounts etc.
Document
This will enable help you to generate reports on your documents. You can choose to see all documents in your project, grouped by the projects , you can view along with the path, type, size, checkouts, discussions if any, whether the doc is shared with your client, etc.
Discussion
This will enable you to generate reports on your discussions. You can view the discussion posts, replies etc
Apps
This will enable you to generate reports on your App items.
Task update
This will enable you to generate reports on the progress updates of your tasks.
Assignment
This is a very important entity which helps you analyze your resource assignments/load on the different tasks. You can use it to generate a report that will display resource wise, task wise, allocated/estimated hours versus actual hours (approved). You can filter over the period of your choice. Activity Log
This is like an audit trail or history of changes done on projects, tasks in it, documents, discussions attached to the project etc. This gives you an idea of what changes have happened, when and by whom.

To find out more on what data you can report on for each entity, you can create a new report of that entity, click on the View tab and look at the columns. |
