  1. Click on Reports > All Reports.
  2. From the New Report drop-down, click on Dashboard.
  3. Type a Name for your new Dashboard.
  4. From the Visible to Users drop-down select the appropriate option if you wish to share the dashboard with users.
  5. From the Visible to Clients drop-down select the appropriate option if you wish to share the dashboard with clients.
  6. Under the Reports tab, select the required reports on your Left Side and Right side of the dashboard.
    NOTE: The individual reports listed here are the reports shared with you.
  7. Click on Save.The Dashboard is created and is displayed for you. 

NOTE: The reports available to be added to a Dashboard are the ones created by you i.e Private to you or Shared to you. The earlier limits of not allowing Resource Load chart and the Gantt reports on dashboard are still applicable due to performance reasons.

View a Dashboard

Once you share a dashboard to other users, this is automatically pushed under their Dashboard menu. Users can select or remove the report from the list. Similarly, you can reorder the sequence of the dashboards to be displayed under your Dashboard menu.

By default the first report in the list, will be the report displayed when you login OR click on the Dashboard button.

Editing / Deleting a Dashboard

  1. From the main menu, click Reports > All Reports.
  2. Search for the dashboard report by typing the name in the Search box OR scroll down the list.
  3. After the report is displayed after searching or from the list page, click on Edit from the actions drop-down menu beside the report name.
  4. Make the required changes. You can add/remove individual reports in now.
  5. Click Save. The report is saved with the changes.

Points to remember:

  1. A dashboard report can have a maximum of 6 individual reports.
  2. When the company policy 'Allow Personal Dashboards' is selected, only then can your users create personal Dashboards i.e dashboards NOT shared with anyone.
  3. You cannot add reports with output type Gantt, Resource Load in a Dashboard.
