At times, you need to track updates on work items where you are not assigned but are related to the work you're doing. By following a work item:

By default, the users assigned on a task and the PM of the project are automatically following that task. One can follow a task by:
- Run the "My Tasks" report.
- From the actions drop-down of the task you wish to follow, click on 'Follow this item'. You are now the explicit follower of the task.

- Run the "My Open items" report or any other report showing you the app items.
