Subscribed users can view the topics , can view the comments posted Users "following" a discussion can view posts by other users against that topic. They can also participate in discussions by adding their comments. You can subscribe to a topic in two ways: (a) While creating a new project (b) While creating a new topic

To subscribe to a topic while creating a new project:

1. On the main menu, click Projects, point to New Project and click Blank Project.
2. Fill in the other details.
3. Under Options tab, select the Auto subscribe team members to new discussion topics.
4. Click Save. The team members are subscribed.

To unsubscribe to topics:

1. Go to your Project.
2. On the left hand side of the window, click Discussion from the list of project specific reports panel.
3. Under the Discussion column, click the discussion topic.
4. Click Unsubscribe link. You will not receive email notifications when others post a comment against your topic.

Once a discussion is followed, the user can add posts, attachments by even replying to the emails.

To follow a discussion:

1. Create or Edit and existing discussion topic.
2. On the New/Edit pop-up, click on the Followers drop-down to select users to add as followers.
3. Click on Save.

You can also click on Follow this item from the actions drop-down menu of a discussion.
 

To unfollow a discussion:

1. Create or Edit and existing discussion topic.
2. On the New/Edit pop-up, click on the Followers drop-down to remove the users to unfollow as followers.
3. Click on Save.

You can also click on Unfollow this item from the actions drop-down menu of a discussion.
