Celoxis sends email notifications on work items when you are either:

  • Implicitly associated with that work item, e.g., assigned to the task/app item, or a Project Manager, or a State Manager for a particular app item.
    OR
  • Explicitly following a work item or discussion.

Replying from Emails

You can reply to any work item email notifications received from Celoxis which will then add a comment to the respective work item. You can even attach files to your reply. These notifications also include a link to that work item for viewing within the application.

Managing Email Preferences

Users who are implicitly associated with work items (e.g. task assignees) can toggle their email notifications as needed from "My Settings" under the user avatar. For exact steps, refer here. On the other hand, when users are explicitly added as followers either by themselves (i.e. clicking on the 'Follow this item') or by another user, emails are automatically sent to them on updates to work items. There are no separate email preferences for explicitly added followers.

Unsubscribe from Emails

For an implicit user, clicking on the "To change your email notification options, click here" will bring up a pop-up in Celoxis showing your enabled preferences. You can then uncheck the related notification and Save.

An explicit user will see a message as seen in the below screenshot. Clicking on the "Unfollow this item" will bring up the details page of the work item from where you can click on the 'Unfollow this item' link.
