The "Activity Stream" provides up-to-the-minute streaming updates and keeps all your conversations around work items, projects and documents in one place. You can directly add your comments to work items or discussions you are following and have viewing rights.
The default Activity stream will show you entries for updates to tasks, documents, discussions and app items that you are following. You can always edit this report and change filters as necessary.
Activity stream will be sorted by date such that the latest block will be shown first in the report. The report is limited to show activities in last 5 days (per entity) and will show maximum of 25 cells.

Action: Created, Modified, Updated
Following: Any (Since you cannot "follow" a project)
Activity Stream is provided out-of-the-box for new sign-ups after 17th October, 2015. You can always create your own Activity Stream from View -> All Reports -> New Report -> Activity Log. For more details on creating reports click here.
