Once all your work associated with a task is finished, you can mark it as ‘Complete’ by clicking on the 100% option. The Finish(Actual) of the task will automatically be set to the Finish date of the task.  When you mark the task as complete i.e. 100%, the managers receive an email notification notifying them that the task is complete.

To mark task as complete:

  1. Go to your Project.
  2. On the left hand side of the window, click Tasks from the list of project specific reports panel.
  3. Point to a task and click on the Actions drop-down  , and then point to Progress and then click on 100%. The task is marked complete.

  • If you do not see the % Complete options when you click on the Progress option, it means that the Default Task % Complete Method of the project is Auto calculated from resource time-sheet. These options (10%, 25%, etc ) will only be visible when the option is Last % entered by the assigned resource.
  • When the Default Task % Complete Method of the project is Weighted Avg.of % entered by each resource, you will not be able to enter progress update from the Gantt chart report by dragging the progress bar.
  • If the Default Task % Complete Method of the project is Auto-calculated from resource time-sheet, the % Complete of the task will only be updated when the time-entries are approved by the respective manager.
