Celoxis offers you various options to print your project schedule.

  • Visible - The portion that you see on the screen is printed as is.
  • Complete - The entire schedule of your project is printed on the paper with the width you select.
  • Custom - You can select the Start and End date of your project plan which you want to print.

The Fit Width option lets you select your paper size so that the image can be adjusted to be displayed on that size.

The image of how your print will look is opened in a new window on which the pop-up window to print the schedule is shown.

  • Your hidden columns i.e the open ones that are overlapped by the Gantt Schedule will not be printed.
  • If you have summary-child tasks in your project plan and they are not expanded when you print the Gantt, they will be printed as seen on screen. Only when you print Complete schedule, will all the nodes be expanded in the print image.
  • The project name will appear on the print of the project.
  • The Scale and the print option you select will decide the what will be printed. If the image size exceeds 25,000 (height) and 10,000 (Width) the, you will be prompted to reduce size. In such cases, you can select the Custom option and select date ranges to print the Gantt.

We recommend you to follow the steps below to print the complete schedule of your project in its original size; especially if your project spans a longer duration.

  1.  Download the software which helps you print images from <http://posterazor.sourceforge.net/index.php?page=download&lang=english>
You need to pick the appropriate download depending on your Operating system. Install the software on your machine.
  2. Now, from Celoxis, take the print of your project by selecting Complete as the 'Date Range' and 'Original Size' as your Fit Width and click on submit.
  3. Right-click in the new pop-up which displays the image of your project and click on 'Save Image As'.
  4. Save the file on your hard drive in .jpg or.png format.
  5. Now, run PosteRazor and provide this file as input to the software.
  6. Select appropriate options for every step. Your image is converted to a PDF file which can then be printed.
