Updating Task Progress

As a project progresses, it is important for team members to keep the Project Manager updated of their work progress. This can be done through weekly meetings. As the number of tasks increases and team gets more distributed (sometimes even across different time zones), it is challenging for the manager to manually track progress of tasks. Celoxis offers a simpler way to update and track progress of tasks you are assigned to.

You can update % complete, put in comments, even enter time when updating your task progress. Celoxis sends an email notification to the managers of the latest updates done on the task. You can choose to inform your team members too in addition to the manager. The updates are stored in a central place and can be referred to at any time to understand how a task progressed. Based on the % complete for a task, Celoxis automatically calculates how long it will take for the entire task to be completed and displays a color coded indicator (RAG status) which informs both the project managers and the team members of the current status of the tasks.
