Adding colors to Custom fields

Celoxis allows you to add colors for your values in the custom field. This is available for custom field of type Single-select Drop-Down. You can pick colors from a pre-defined list of colors available under the Color Reference link on the pop-up.


  • Once you select a color for a value, you will have to then  mention it for all values.
  • The color names are case insensitive and have to be unique across the values.

  • When you create chart reports using this field, the colors specified in the custom fields are used to draw the pie/bar/bubble.

  • In Tabular reports or Details page of the entity, the custom field will be represented as a badge with the user entered color.
