Celoxis v9.1 Release Notes

Release Dates:

  • For SaaS - January 10, 2015
  • For OnPremise - January 27, 2015

Following are the highlights of v9.1 release:

  1. Celoxis App for QuickBooks Online: Send all your billable and approved time entries from Celoxis directly into QuickBooks Online and synchronize them as 'Invoiced' once attached to customer invoices in your QBO company. Works only with QuickBooks Online versions that support time entries. Currently released in beta.
  2. Performance Improvements: To keep up with increasing customer requirements and data throughput, our engineers have tuned several portions of the software to be as fast as possible. With multilevel code & database schema  improvements and re-architecture, we have achieved an overall 20-25% improvement in performance. Key areas like MSP, CSV import and RLC reports are a whooping 50% faster.
    1. For On-Premise Installations: There are some database schema changes as part of this release. For exact details, please contact our support team.
  3. Usability Enhancements:
    1. A better representation of tasks that are ‘blocked’ because of incomplete predecessors, so that managers can easily distinguish them among other tasks and address them promptly. They remain as 'Blocked' even if their finish date is in the past.
    2. “Remember Me” on the Login page is renamed to “Stay signed in” to better reflect its purpose.
  4. API Additions: Easily import time entries in any state from external systems into Celoxis using our ‘import-time-entries’ API call. Refer here for the function arguments and examples.
  5. Bug Fixes:
    1. Reject Button on Approved Expenses has been fixed.
    2. After creating a new account, some users were not receiving the account creation email containing their credentials. This has now been resolved.
    3. There was a scheduling bug with "As Late As Possible (ALAP)" task constraint. This is now corrected.

    4. The unmeaning mouse click on " Reports" label in the top navigation menu has been removed.

Enforcing Limits

The "Incomplete Timesheets" report can no longer be added to the dashboard. For existing users who have this report on their dashboards, it will be automatically removed. This report is a performance deterrent and causes extremely slowly loading dashboards. The report can be easily accessed from " Reports" under the Time menu.
