Celoxis v10.0 Release Notes

Release Dates:

  • For SaaS - 16th April 2016
  • For On-Premise - 01st June 2016

Breaking Changes

  1. Individual Report Customizations Lost for People > Users, Clients, Contacts: Apologies! There is nothing we could really do about this (sad). In this release, we are changing the People Lists (Users, Clients, and Contacts) as lightweight, shared "Views" (new feature in v10.0). In our previous version, these being reports could have their individual customization of columns and grouping. However, our new Views do not allow individual customization of columns and grouping. We have given a standard definition to these Views. Only your Admin can Edit them and make the necessary filter/column/grouping changes. These changes will be applicable sitewide.
  2. Existing favorite Reports moved under the new "Reports" menu.
  3. Resource Load is created as a default view under the new "View" menu. However, your existing Resource Load Chart Report continues to exist as-is under the "Reports" menu. While you cannot delete the Resource Load View, you can update its definition to match your existing Resource Load Report and then delete the old report.

New Features

  1. Views as a primary way of managing different objects (Projects, Tasks, Time Entries, Expenses, one view for all active Apps) in the system. Each object in Celoxis will have its associated view.

  2. Notification Center - A demanded feature to be able to view all notifications in the application itself. The in-app notification center notifies you about new work assignments, modifications to items you are is currently working on, and updates or conversations on tasks and discussions you are following.

  3. @Mentions - Another demanded feature allowing you to mention your teammates on tasks, apps, or discussions in order to get their attention to your message.

  4. New-look BADGES to highlight important content such as project schedule and budget health or time and expense entry states.

  5. Faster reports rendering engine.
