Many times, you might have similar running projects. Instead of setting up your projects and tasks from scratch, you can create Templates and use these to get a new project up and running within a few clicks.

Celoxis allows you to create such Templates and use them when creating new projects.

Setting up Templates

To create a new Template:

  1. The first step would be to create the project (Blank Project) with its WBS with as much details like tasks, costs, budget, resources, etc. as you can add. This is your Template.
  2. Click on Administration > Project Templates under the Project Management section.
  3. Click on Add
  4. Select the project you recently created and click on Next. Your temple project is setup to be copied!

Using the Templates

  1. From the main menu click on Add > Project > Use a Template.
  2. In the new pop-up, select the project template you have created and click on Next.
  3. On the Copy Project pop-up, put in the details of your new project to be created and click on Save. Your project is ready.
