Celoxis offers a number of pre-defined reports to get you started. In most cases these should suffice your needs. Predefined reports will show Celoxis as the creator. Privileges on these are preset to allow for the most common requirements. For instance

  • All users may run the "My Tasks", "My Projects", "My Expenses" and "My Time Entries" reports. 
  • Typically the PM will need reports that help track the project, financials, keep track of tasks due etc. The reports that are primarily aimed for the PM are prefixed with "PM " and are designed to run to fetch data belonging to that PM. So for eg, the "PM - Project Financial Report" will display the financial information of only those projects where the person running the report is a PM. Other reports are:
    PM - Project Tracking Report, PM - Tasks due this week, PM - Unassigned Tasks.
  • There are 4 reports for client. They have been shared with the clients by default. You can choose to edit the reports and remove the sharing.  
    • Projects (Shared with Clients)
    • Discussions (Shared with Clients)
    • Document (Shared with Clients)
    • Change Requests (Shared with Clients)
  • Apps Reports -
    • My Bugs
    • My Change Requests
    • My Issues
    • My To Dos
    • Project Approval Requests
    • Risk Register
  • Exec Reports - These are typical high level graphical reports that run across all projects. 
    • Execs - All Projects by Budget 
    • Execs - All Projects by Schedule

You can modify any of the above reports to suit your requirements or make copies and modify the copies.
