At times, reassigning the app item may be done for a variety of reasons like work restructuring or the current assignee is on leave or is busy with other activities.

To reassign the App item:

  1. Go to your app item.
  2. From the actions drop-down  of the workflowapp item, click on Reassign
  3. Select the user to reassign the item from the Reassign To drop-down.
  4. You can enter suitable comments for the change if required.
  5.  Click on Submit. The item will be re-assigned to the user new.

 

Info
  • The new assignee will receive a notification that the App item is assigned to him.
  • The original assignee will no longer see the App item when filling time or in reports.
  • Only the user with Reassign privilege will be able to perform this action.
