It is possible to re-assign the Workflow currently assigned to a user to someone else. This may At times, reassigning the app item may be done for a variety of reasons including like work restructuring , you or the current assignee is on leave or is busy with other activities.

Only the user with Reassign privilege will be able to do this.

To notify the requestorTo reassign the App item:

  1. Go to your Workflowapp item.
  2. From the actions drop-down  of the workflow, click on Reassign
  3. Select the user to reassign the Workflow item from the Reassign To drop-down.
  4. You can enter suitable comments for the change if required.
  5.  Click on Submit. The process will be re-assigned to the user new.

 

Info
  • The new assignee will receive a notification that the App item is assigned to him.
  • The original assignee will no longer see the App item when filling time or in reports.
  • Only the user with Reassign privilege will be able to perform this action.
