When you want to start an app item under a specific state in a Workspace, this method is usedThis method allows anyone to initiate an App by sending a email to a unique email address. The email address has encoded information about the App, Workspace and the specific state the item must be placed. For instance, a New Help Desk process is initiated in the workspace handling these requests when the customer sends you want a Support Ticket to be initiated when your customers send an email to a particular given address.
Direct Email Interface:
- On From the main menu, click Settings, and then click Companyon and then Company Settings.
- Under Apps section, click Email Integration.
- Under the Direct Email Interface section click , click on Find Email Address.
- Select the appropriate App, Workspace, State from the drop-down list and click on Next.
- From the Workspace drop-down list, select the required Workspace.
- From the State drop-down list, select state.
- Click on Submit. An email address for your app is created which created which will then create app items under the selected Workspace workspace and Statestate.
