After the assignee of the App item a user has completed his/her part of the activity activity, he can perform an action needs to be performed to move the item to into the next level or state.

To do the state transitionperform an action:

  1. Go to your Workflow.Select the next state from under the actions drop-down Image Removed of the Workflow. The possible transition(s) are listed first in the drop-downthe app item.
  2. Click its actions Image Added. The possible action(s) for the item are listed first.
  3. Enter your Comments.
  4. Click the Assigned To drop-down list and select the assignee for the next state. This is only visible if the state transition intended action requires the a next assignee to be selected by the user.
  5. You For project items, you can also enter the Hours you have spent on the Workflow and item and select the appropriate Time Code for this. This is only visible if time-logging is enabled on the App.
    Checking the Send For Approval, will submit the time-entries for approval to the PM.
  6. Select Notify Requestor option, if you want to notify the requestor of the transition and commentsapp item. This field is only visible if the Use Requestor Field? is checked when defining the WorkflowApp.
  7. Click Submit. The process will be updated with the changes.

Image Added A user who is assigned to the Workflow or having App item state has implicit privileges to perform any actions defined from that state. If you need others to be able to perform actions then you need to explicitly give them Perform Action privilege can perform this action.
