The OAUTH token is generated when admin authorizes QuickBooks Online to share data with Celoxis App for QuickBooks Online. This token is valid for 180 days which means the admin can keep the connection between QuickBooks Online and Celoxis App for QuickBooks Online active for 180 days.
QuickBooks Online tokens expire after every 180 days. Whenever that happens and a user tries to Sync with QuickBooks Online, user will get a message “Access to your QuickBooks Online Company has expired. Please ask your Admin to reconnect to the QuickBooks Online Company.”Users will NOT resume alternate (v9.0) behavior (Invoicing/UnInvoicing cannot be done in Celoxis) , since its not an intentional disconnect from QuickBooks Online. Admins will see the “Connect to QBO” button when they go to QuickBooks Online Setup pageEvery authenticated connection remains active for 180 days, after which QuickBooks Online automatically expires it for security reasons. Admins are required to Connect to QuickBooks Online again.
If your connection expires, your users will not be able to sync time entries with QuickBooks Online. They will see an authentication failure message. Once the admin reconnects to QuickBooks Online, they will be able to resume normal operation.
