  1. Saved - When a time entry is saved, it is in the Saved state. It appears in the color black and the user can edit the time entry. At times people prefer to submit their time once at the end of the week. Keeping the time entry in Saved state helps check if you have accounted for a minimum work period. For instance, 40 hours per week
  2. Pending Approval (or Submit for Approval) - In this state, the time entry is amber. It is submitted to the manager (by default) to approve. The user cannot edit a time entry in the Pending for approval state. The project managers for your tasks are notified by email when time entries are submitted for approval.
  3. Approved - When the manager (or anyone with Approve Time privilege) approves a time entry, it shows in blue. An approved time entry can be edited by the person who has the right privileges.
  4. Rejected - When the manager (or anyone with Approve Time privilege) rejects a time entry, it shows in red. If the time entry is rejected, you will be notified by email and can then make changes and re-submit/delete it.
  5. Invoiced (since V6.5) - Time entries that are billable and approved can be marked as invoiced to indicate that the client has been invoiced this amount. Invoice is a separate privilege that needs to be granted. Invoiced time entries are shown in green.
