User cost rates and billing rates can be defined at the Company level or Project level. If the rates do not exist at a project level, then the Company rates are referred.

To add Billing Rates at the project level: 

  1. Go to your project and click on the action drop down 
  2. Navigate to Settings and click on Billing Rates.
  3. You will see the list of Time codes/User rates displayed (based on Company billing model)
  4. To edit any of the rates you can click on the respective boxes and you can edit the rates.
  5. To add new rates, click on the Add button and fill the details below.
  6. Click on Save.

This is the billing rate that will be used to compute this project's billing Amount. If your billing model is User based, then you will also see the Estimated billing for your project.

To add User Cost at the project level:

  1. Go to your project and click on the action drop-down 
  2. Then go to Settings and click on Cost Rates.
  3. Click on the Add icon.
  4. From the User drop-down list, select a user.
  5. Enter the rates by clicking on the rate boxes.
  6. Click on Save.
