New Features 

  1. New and Improved Charts: New look and feel, improved colors, impressive animations, and rich interactivity to our chart library. You can also adjust your perspective by toggling data series in grouped and bubble charts. Our new charting framework is cross-platform and cross-browser yet lightweight, which translates into high performance and responsive charts across any of our supported browsers and mobiles.
  2. Improved Collaboration on work items: Collaborate directly on tasks, bugs, issues, change requests and even documents. Follow work items and project discussions, reply straight out of your inbox to emails (notifications) and add your comment. 
  3. "New-look" Activity Stream: We have revamped our Activity Stream.  You can get up-to-the-minute streaming updates and keep all your conversations in one place.  You can also quickly comment on work items directly from the activity stream. Please note that if your account had an old Activity log report, it will automatically be migrated to the new Activity stream. Alternatively, you can create your own Activity Stream report from the "All Reports" view.
  4. Ability to download Reports as PDF: Quite a nifty addition in itself. 
  5. Support for The Russian Language: We have expanded our multi-lingual library to include The Russian language.
  6. Support for Client Locales: Clients can now change language capabilities making it easier for them to work in their native parlance. 
  7. Ability to fill Non-project time from Mobile: Teams on-the-go can easily enter non-project times (meetings, training, etc.) directly from their mobile devices.
  8. Upload User Photo: Users can now upload their photos or avatars directly from the application.
  9. Quick Search: We have added a quick search capability to help you locate your mission-critical projects, documents or work items instantly. 
  10. Import Apps: We keep adding pre-built apps from time to time. This feature allows admins to quickly bring in the ones relevant to their businesses.  
  11. Fill time for "email-only" (or generic) users: Admins or Users with "Proxy" privilege can now fill weekly time for "email-only" (or generic) users.

Infrastructure Improvements 

  1. Several server software improvements to better utilize server capabilities and protect against new-day web application vulnerabilities. Tomcat version upgraded. 

Usability Enhancements

  1. A modernized navigation, bolder section headers, improved form usability and pick lists.
  2. Improved and faster Gantt rendering and new colors.
  3. All Reports View: The different tabs have been consolidated into "Favorites" and "All". A quick search box has been added for easy finding. The view is now a lightweight  popup.
  4. Add Report: Label and control changes to "Share with users" and "Share with clients" to better express its purpose of access control. The labels are now "Visible to Users" and "Visible to Clients". 
  5. Upload Company Logo and New Specifications: Admins can now directly upload their organization's logo from the Company Settings page. We have also provided for a larger height and decoupled the rigid dimensions for your logo. This logo will also flow into your email notifications.
  6. Enhanced Project Discussions: Discussion emails now include a running conversation of 10 posts with a link to the entire post. New column "Last Post" added to reports.
  7. Mark on Track: Easily mark all of your tasks  up-to-date without guessing the correct % progress. 
  8. Create Subtasks via Email: Users can create subtasks via email by appending the parent task in the email's subject.
  9. Download User List: Administrators can now export the users' list to CSV/HTML/PDF for account management purposes.
  10. Auto-focus on Gantt: Enables faster entry using keyboard shortcuts saving you a click.

Behavioral Changes 

  1. New User: Admins can create new users from another selected user with all security, preferences and favorite reports.
  2. Add Update from Email: Adding an update via email does not mandate a % complete value in the Subject line. If left untouched, the system retains the previous values.
  3. A user’s private reports (i.e. Visible to Users: No, Visible to Clients: No) will not be visible to Admin users in their Reports List. This makes the Admin's list less cluttered.
  4. Email address will be cleared off automatically when a user is deactivated.
  5. Printing the Interactive Gantt will now download as a PDF file. For option -‘Original Size-, a PNG image will be downloaded. This is done for cross-browser consistency. 
  6. Remotely loaded pick lists (e.g. User pick list) will show 25 records max in the pick list with a typeahead capability for more results. You will have to type at least 3 characters to narrow down search results in the pick list.

Limits 

  1. For chart reports, the maximum value for "Maximum number of bars/slices to show" is 20.
  2. For PDF download, the max number of records for tabular reports is 250 (i.e. max page size in reports). For Time-phased reports, the limit is set to  1 month. 
  3. Recent items are restricted to 15. 

Discontinued Items  

  1. In/Out Board (unsupported from v4.5) has been discontinued.
  2. Import CSV File for Project containers option has been removed.

Bug Fixes  

  1. Changes to Requestor Email Templates for All workspaces was not saved.

  2. Schedule Status of the summary tasks having milestones task as child reflected incorrect schedule status.

  3. Hours(Actual) column in time-phased reports did not consider hours filled on tasks not assigned to the user.

  4. Variation of finish dates on task details page and reports caused due to constraints.
