Celoxis sends email notifications on work items when you are either:
- Implicitly associated with that work item, e.g., assigned to the task/app item, or a Project Manager, or a State Manager for a particular app item.
OR - Explicitly following a work item or discussion.
Replying from Emails
You can reply to any email notifications received from Celoxis which will then add a comment to the respective work item. You can also add attachments to your reply.
The notifications include a link to the work item that you are following.
Managing Email Prefs
An implicit user can enable email notifications by checking the 'Work Item progress is updated' preference under 'My Setting'. For steps, refer here.
When a user is added as a follower (explicit) either by other user or himself (by clicking on the 'Follow this item'), the email notifications are sent automatically to the follower. No separate preference need to be enabled.
Unsubscribe from Emails
For an implicit user, clicking on the "To change your email notification options, click here" will bring up a pop-up in Celoxis showing your enabled preferences. You can then uncheck the related notification and Save.
An explicit user will see a message as seen in the below screenshot. Clicking on the "Unfollow this item" will bring up the details page of the work item from where you can click on the 'Unfollow this item' link.
