When you search for any particular phrase in Celoxis, that phrase is searched within some attributes for the type selected and the result are shown accordingly. The following table explains what attributes are searched for each type.

ProjectName, Detail, Custom Fields, Code
TaskName, Detail, Custom fields.
DocumentName, Details, Document content.
DiscussionName, Details, Content of the posts.
Process/App itemName, Detail, Summary, Custom fields, Updates.
PersonName, Email address, Keywords, Custom fields.
  • You can search for a particular phrase in all the types by selecting All under the Type drop-down. 
  • To search for a phrase, enclose it in quotes e.g. "sales tax"
  • To exclude a term, prefix it with - e.g. -microsoft
  • To make a term mandatory, prefix it with + e.g.  +penguin
  • To search for a prefix, suffix it with a * e.g. docu* will search for all words starting with 'docu'

Any entity (type) that was created 3 years before is not available in the search results.
