This method allows anyone to initiate an App by sending a email to a unique email address. The email address has encoded information about the App, Workspace and the specific state the item must be placed. For instance, you want a Support Ticket to be initiated when your customers send an email to a given address.
Direct Email Interface:
- On the main menu, click Settings, and then click Company.
- Under Apps section, click Email Integration.
- Under the Direct Email Interface section click on Find Email Address.
- Select the appropriate App from the drop-down list and click on Next.
- From the Workspace drop-down list, select the required Workspace.
- From the State drop-down list, select state.
- Click on Submit. An email address for your app is created which will then create app items under the selected workspace and state.
