You can follow Tasks, App items in Celoxis. At times, you need to track updates on work items where you are not assigned. By following a work item:
- You get updates via email notifications about the updated on the work items.
- You can reply to the emails (with attachments) which will then add your comment against the work item.
Follow a task
By default, the users assigned on a task and the PM of the project are the implicit assignees of the task. One can follow a task by:
- Run the "My Tasks" report.
- From the actions drop-down of the task you wish to follow, click on 'Follow this item'. You are now the explicit follower of the task.
Follow an app item
By default, the assignee of the app item and the State Manager are the implicit assignee's of an app item. One can follow an app item by:
- Run the "My Open items" report or any other report showing you the app items.
- From the actions drop-down of the app item, click on 'Follow this item'. You are now the explicit follower of the app item.
- To unfollow a work item, click on Unfollow this item from the actions drop down of the respective item. To unsubscribe from emails, click here.
- You need to be able to view a work item to be able to follow it or receive updates on it.
