When you want to start an app item under a specific state in a Workspace, this method is used. For instance, a New Help Desk app item is initiated in the workspace handling these requests when the customer sends an email to a particular address.

Direct Email Interface:

  1. On the main menu, click Settings, and then click Company.
  2. Under Apps section, click Email Integration.
  3. Under the Direct Email Interface section click on Find Email Address.
  4. Select the appropriate App from the drop-down list and click on Next.
  5. From the Workspace drop-down list, select the required Workspace.
  6. From the State drop-down list, select state. 
  7. Click on Submit. An email address for your app is created  which will then create app items under the selected Workspace and State.
