Only users with admin privileges can connect to QuickBooks Online. Once the connection is established all users (with Invoice Privilege) can sync time entries between the two systems.
Before you connect to QuickBooks Online, please ensure that you have completed all steps listed in the Before Using the App section.
Following steps will guide you to connect the Celoxis App to your QuickBooks Online company:
If you are an existing Celoxis user and have been "Invoicing" time entries in Celoxis, please refer to Switching to QuickBooks Online, before connecting to QuickBooks Online.
- From main menu click on Settings and then click on Company. This will take you to the Company Settings page.
- Under Time & Expense section, click on "Connect with QuickBooks Online (BETA)"
3. You will get a pop-up to Connect to Quick Books Online. Click on "Connect to QuickBooks" button. This will initiate Intuit's authentication process.
On Premise customers may see the following message on Intuit's "Sign in" pop up.
"The web-site domain of the application requesting access to your Intuit data does not match what we have on file. Please proceed at your own risk".
When we register our App with Intuit, we have to provide a host domain. This in our case is "celoxis.com". Since on-premise users are trying to access from their own server (and domain), Intuit tries to warn you of this domain mismatch. Please be assured there is no security risk involved and you can safely ignore this message.
4. On the next screen, you will be prompted to enter your QuickBooks Online credentials.
5. Click on the "Authorize" button. By doing this, the admin authorizes QuickBooks Online company to securely share data with Celoxis App for QuickBooks Online.
6. The pop up automatically closes and your Company Settings page is refreshed. You are now connected to QuickBooks Online.
