Error attempting to start Celoxis service (Windows)

Sometimes, even after setting up the Celoxis service, you might get an error when attempting to start the service. In such situation, follow the steps below:

1. Ensure your CATALINA_OPTS variable is set to use minimum of 1024M. For steps refer here.
2. The service needs to be set as an administrator user. Even after doing this, if face issue, follow the steps below:
   
   1. Set Celoxis as service. Do not attempt to start it.
   2. Now go to <Celoxis install directory>psa_7.0.0/bin directory.
   3. Here you should see a celoxisw.exe file. Run this file as administrator.
   4. Navigate to the Java tab in the new pop-up.
   5. For Max Memory, enter 1024M as the value in the box besides it.
   6. Save this.
   7. Now, try to start the Celoxis service.
