As a project progresses, tasks often tend to get delayed. It is very useful for a Manager to be able to compute the finish date based on current progress. Celoxis allows you to compute a projected finish date for your tasks and project. This can be done by clicking on Recalculate Projections for a project.
The attributes which are calculated are:
- Projected Start date of tasks.
- Projected Finish date of a tasks.
- Projected Finish date of a project.
- RAG (schedule and budget) status of project.
To recalculate projections:
- Go to your Project.
- From the project's action drop-down
, navigate to More. - Click Recalculate Projections.
We automatically do these projections every day for projects which are "In Progress" and have the Start date before today and Deadline of the project is in the last 90 days.
