Recalculating Projections

As a project progresses, tasks often tend to get delayed. It is very useful for a Manager to be able to compute the finish date based on current progress. Celoxis allows you to compute a projected finish date for your tasks and project. This can be done by clicking on Recalculate Projections for a project.

The attributes which are calculated are:

• Projected Start date of tasks.
• Projected Finish date of a tasks.
• Projected Finish date of a project.
• RAG (schedule and budget) status of project.

To recalculate projections for a single project:

1. Go to your Project and then click on More followed by Recalculate Projections. 

To recalculate projections for a multiple projects:

1. Run a project report or view where you will see the projects for which you wish to calculate the projections.
2. Select those projects and from the bulk action menu (3-line menu), click on Recalculate Projections.
