Filling time on Apps
Celoxis allows you to fill time on your bugs, tickets and other app items. You can fill time on Apps that have time-logging enabled.
Time can only be filled for apps defined on projects. You cannot fill time on non-project level app items.
Time can be filled in the following ways:
- When performing an action
- When adding commentsÂ
- From Weekly Time screen
Once you select the project, you can select your app item from under the Work Item column.- In the Work Item dropdown, the project app items are visually differentiated from tasks
- Time can only be filled for app items that were or are currently assigned to you.
- Items created or last updated in the 'Work items in range' filter will be shown.
- Time is not allowed on non-project app items.
- Time is not allowed on completed app items.Â
- From Timer.Â
- From Mobile.
Click on Time under the Add option. Selecting the Project will list all the relevant app items under the Work Item drop-down. You can then select a relevant item and fill time on it.

- Once you submit the time entries for approval, the PM or Approver can Approve/Reject the time entries. If your company auto-approves time, these time entries will also be auto-approved.
- Time entered against Apps will be used to calculate your Expected hours.
- Cost(Actual), Amount(Act, Billable) and Amount(Time, Invoiced) will be calculated if time-entries are Approved, Billed and Invoiced.
- Moving the App item from one project to another will copy its existing time-entries to the new project. This will affect the new project's financials.Â
- Proxy user can fill time on Apps for other user provided the app item is assigned to the other user.
