Integrate with JIRA

Celoxis - Jira integration using Zapier allows your cross-functional team to work in collaboration with each other and also the benefits of it. With this, you can

  • Create an issue in JIRA which will create a task in Celoxis.
  • Update an issue in Jira which will update the relevant task in Celoxis.

Sample setup of task creation:

  1. The first step would be to create a Zap with JIRA as the trigger app.
  2. After this, you need to select the Trigger as New Issue and move towards your next step.
  3. Now, connect your Jira account with Celoxis.
  4. You now need to pick the Project which Zapier needs to watch for picking your new issues.
  5. After this step, Zapier will fetch a sample data for you to be sent to your next steps. 
  6. After this is done, the next step will be picking your Action App which in our case is Celoxis.
  7. Select action as Create Task.
  8. Now, connect to your Celoxis account. You will be prompted to enter:
    1. Server URL: For SaaS users, it will be https://app.celoxis.com. For On-premise customers, please enter the URL specified under the Administration > Site Settings > Server URL.
    2. Access Token: Type: https://app.celoxis.com/psa/person.newtoken.do in the browser and hit Enter. The Token that you see here need to be pasted in Zapier.
  9. Proceed to the next steps where you will now set up the field mapping. Map all the fields important for your integration to work successfully. The important step here is to map your project where the tasks need to be created.
  10. Proceed to the Next step and at last, give your Zap a suitable name. Upon successful creation of the Zap, your sample data fetched from Jira will be created as task in Celoxis.
