As a project progresses, tasks often tend to get delayed. It is very useful for a Manager to be able to compute the finish date based on current progress. Celoxis allows you to compute a projected finish date for your tasks and project. This can be done by clicking on Recalculate Projections for a project.
The attributes which are calculated are:
- Projected Start date of tasks.
- Projected Finish date of a tasks.
- Projected Finish date of a project.
- RAG (schedule and budget) status of project.
To recalculate projections:
- Go to your Project and from menu on right, click on More followed by Recalculate Projections.
- We automatically do these projections every day for projects which are "In Progress" and have the Start date before today and Deadline of the project is in the last 90 days.
- If you do not see this option, it means that the project is in Draft or Planning Stage.
