External Users

In an organization, apart from the full-time employees, you may work with external contractors with whom you may not want to share your client details, project financials, and other confidential data. Celoxis allows you to manage your external resources in a way where you can restrict them from viewing certain part of information in the project.

Celoxis provides you with a default role called External Users. You should assign your external contractors this role. This role has been provided with a set of default security settings so that users in that role CANNOT:

• View a client,
• Create new project,
• View and edit project financials. These users will see asterisk marks (*) in all the places where the finance related data is displayed.
