New Features:

  1. Introducing New Charts where you can create comparison charts, 100% Stacked bars, ability to change chart orientation, and much more.
  2. Time-phased data for the financial fields; one of the most demanded feature to view financial information such as cash flows and profitability for a specific duration.
  3. Scheduled reports delivery.
  4. Roll-up values for custom fields. Yet another demanded feature; you can now specify the roll up method of custom fields which will then roll up the values to their respective top levels.
  5. Ability to define multiple dashboards and share them with your team. Each dashboard will have a limit of 6 reports.
  6. Report with output type "Card": Now view your work items in a fancy card style layout.
  7. Salesforce Integration: Ability to create multiple projects per opportunity. You can also view the project from within Salesforce now.
  8. First-class KPI fields such as Planned/Actual Profitability and Margin.
  9. New Columns: Automated WBS and Successors for tasks
  10. Ability to create report of type "User".
  11. Ability to specify colors for your values in Custom fields (Single-select drop-down type).
  12. Help text on mouse-over for project health indicators.
  13. Ability to filter on iCal events: You can now fetch details for only tasks or events or projects, etc.
  14. Ability to calculate project projections for multiple projects in bulk.
  15. Changes to financial fields are now audited under the respective entities Audit Log. 
  16. A new field Financial Year added under Company Administration page.

Changed Items:

  1. New improved column names. For entire list, refer here.
  2. Changes API table / column names. For entire list, refer here.
  3. New and improved page (slide-out) for projects, tasks and other work items. A quick way to see details without losing context.
  4. Standardized work item URLs. Your old bookmarked URL's will continue to work (smile)
  5. Standard way of specifying the Predecessor information. 
  6. Change of date format when importing tasks, apps. The ISO date format is now used. 
  7. Email notifications will now be sent to clients whenever you create their logins in Celoxis. They will also receive notifications when their password is reset.
  8. The additional Project Managers specified will now be shown on the Project's detail page.
  9. List of exceptions shown under the Administration > Work Calendar > 'Exceptions' tab will be limited to events 2 years prior to current date and 5 years ahead. The repeats events that lies in this period will be shown too. 
  10. Report customization per user now preserved after editing the report too. When a report is edited and saved, individual customization will not be deleted unless the output type is changed.
  11. % Comp entered from Timesheet will update the task directly although the time entry associated with it is Saved.
  12. The Actual Finish and %Comp both need to be entered for marking a task complete. Earlier entering the Actual finish would automatically update the task to 100%
  13. 'Date' filter removed from Update task screen (% and comments). This date was used for time-entry only and had no relevance to the task update being made.

Discontinued Items:

  1. Ability to Download reports as HTML. Since the browser itself handles this, we have removed this ability.
  2. Cross-Project dependencies will not be shown under the 'Predecessor' column. It will be under the 'Predecessors' tab on Add/Edit task pop-up.
  3. Formula Key was a mandatory field when creating custom fields. This is now system generated and removed from the Add form for simplicity.
