Common Issues while setup

Following are the common issues that you might face when setting up the LDAP. You need to check the log files for the error message.

  1. Error:  No route to Host.

    Solution:  The domain name of the directory service you entered is not reachable from the Celoxis server. Ensure that the domain name is resolvable and Celoxis server can connect to the host.
     
  2.  Error: javax.naming.NamingException: [LDAP: error code 1 - 000004DC: LdapErr: DSID-0C0906E8, comment: In order to perform this operation a successful bind must be completed on the connection., data 0, v1db1
    Solution:  The Admin DN User name and Password combination is incorrect. After your correct the details, restart the application.


  3.  Error: Authenticate resulted in 0 users: * No users found
    Solution: Ensure that you have created users in Celoxis with the same login name as the sAMAccountName and that you are entering correct credentials.
