MS Project Import/Export

When doing a MSP Import:

  •  MS Project files maintains dates even for a manually scheduled tasks. These dates are silently computed by MSP to indicate the dates as if the tasks are auto-scheduled.The MPP/XML file has these dates and are used Celoxis. These tasks will be imported as manually scheduled tasks in Celoxis.

 

When doing a MSP Export:

  • Celoxis' manually scheduled tasks will be exported as manually scheduled tasks into MSP.
  • Summary tasks will be exported as auto-scheduled tasks.

 

Manually scheduled tasks will always be imported and exported with Schedule Type as 'Fixed Duration'. Schedule Type will not factor or change the manually scheduled task dates.
