Expenses

Expenses affect project costs. You can create expense codes for your organization to track where the money is being spent. e.g. photocopying, travel, food. Reports can be used to analyze expenses.

For example, it is possible to see photocopying expenses for the year to facilitate a decision on whether to purchase a photocopying machine instead of using the local store. As the project progresses, the approved expenses against a task should be compared against the Estimated Material cost of the task to ensure no budget overruns.
