Deactivating a client

Celoxis allows you to deactivate a client instead of deleting them. This is because a lot of data of the client is present which needs to be preserved. Once you deactivate a client, all its sub-clients are also deactivated.

To deactivate a Client:

1. From the main menu, click on View > People > Clients.
2. On the displayed page, point to a client, and from the actions drop-down click, Deactivate. You will be prompted to select a new client to reassign the responsibilities.
3. Select the client and click Deactivate. The client will be deactivated and will not be able to login to Celoxis. 

The following responsibilities of a client will be assigned to the new client:

• Open Projects
• Open app items
• Open Discussions
