Company Information


You can set company preferences as per your requirements. These are global settings and are applicable to all the users in your company irrespective of the time zone they are working in, or the currency that is used as a mode of transaction. 

To set the company information: 

  1. Login with a user with administrator privileges and click on Administration option under the user profile.
  2. Under the Account Management section, click Company Information.
  3. On the new pop-up window, enter the details.
  4. Click Submit

The following information can be edited:

Decimal Format
Amounts are displayed using this format.
 

Currency Symbol
This is used to display all currency amounts in Celoxis. For instance. project cost, budget, billing amounts etc.
 

Time Zone
The company's 'Default' work calendar is created with the timezone specified here. Any user created is assigned the Default work calendar which can be changed.  
 

Document Language
Celoxis offers a sophisticated search capability which searches through documents.The Document Language refers to the language used in the documents uploaded into Celoxis. Searching is not limited to matching exact words. For instance, you may want to search for non-English characters such as á, é, í, ñ. In that case searching for those exact characters is also required. Currently only a few languages are supported. Instead of prompting the user for the language for each document uploaded, this setting is assumed for all documents uploaded into Celoxis. The documents must also be encoded using UTF-8.
 

Week Starts On
In some countries the first day of the week is Sunday while others it is Monday. This is used for displaying information in Calendar format such as in the Calendar, Time sheet and Project Calendar and Calendar style reports.
 

Company Code
There could be a rare occurrence in our hosted version where two users from different companies have the same log in name and password. At such time the user is prompted to enter this to identify the company they belong to.
