Overview on Reports
Reports provide you with insight of the working within your organization. Celoxis has a very powerful reporting engine that allows you to generate practically any kind of report you require. And the beauty of the reporting engine is that you need not create a thousand reports. Celoxis lets you define fewer reports, at the same time providing you the flexibility of deciding how you want to organize the data in a way you prefer. The user can pick the columns they wish to view, they can choose to group and sort the data, the promptable filters let them narrow down data. And all this is without altering the basic report definition. So 1 report defined can potentially be modified by every user to display data as per their specification. Other key features like - Running User -  also help in generating multiple reports from a single report definition.Â
You need 'Add' Report privilege to be able to generate reports in Celoxis. Reports created and shared with users can be tweaked by the users to organize the data in a way they prefer (columns, group, sort and promptable filters) This does not require a permission.
