Workspace
In large organizations, a workspace provides a way to group users, projects and apps with specific responsibility. Having workspaces ensure that the users have restricted access to what they can see and what is not in their purview.
The flexibility of workspaces is such that they can be used in functional as well as matrix project management environments. For functional or traditional vertical business units, workspaces can often be used as departments. For matrix project management, workspaces provide a way to manage cross functional and cross business groups.
