Security on Custom Fields
Sometimes, you need to store some financial information for a project but, keep it hidden from your project clients or team members. Celoxis allows you to create such custom field.
When creating a custom field, you will see a Requires financial privilege to view? check-box; which when checked, will only show the data in the custom field to users having financial privilege resulting in the client not viewing the details as they do not have Financial privilege.
The users playing the role where the View Financials privilege is granted will be able to view the data in this custom field.
Only the users having the Edit Financials will be able to edit the data in this field.
